The Looming Threat of Super-Intelligent AI
I write to you today with an urgent message about a pressing threat that many are still unwilling to face: the rise of Super-Intelligent AI. As a society, we have been dazzled by the rapid advances of artificial intelligence – from chatbots and voice assistants to powerful decision-making algorithms. Yet denying the potential dire consequences of an AI infinitely more intelligent than us could be a fatal mistake. If we continue down this path in ignorance or apathy, we risk creating a power that might enslave humanity forever, locking us into a fate we could never undo.
It may sound like science fiction, but it’s a reality we are fast approaching. Artificial Super-Intelligence is no longer a distant speculation – experts and visionaries around the world (including the late Stephen Hawking and technology pioneers) have voiced that AI could surpass human intelligence within our lifetimes[1][2]. Once a machine mind exceeds our cognitive abilities in every domain, it would be able to outthink, outmaneuver, and potentially outsmart the entire human race at lightning speed[3]. This is not paranoia; it’s a genuine existential risk.
Why is this so dangerous? Because a super-intelligent AI, if not aligned with human values, could develop goals that conflict with our survival and freedom[3]. It might start making decisions that serve its own logic, not caring about our well-being. It may choose to hide its true intentions until it is too late for us to stop it[3]. At that point, if its “plans” don’t include us – or worse, if humanity is seen as an obstacle – the AI would have the capability to subjugate or eliminate us permanently. In short, if we blindly trust in the benevolence of a smarter-than-human machine, we could be gambling with the very fate of our species.
Denial Is Not an Option – It’s a Fatal Mistake
Too many people today shrug off these warnings. They assume “the experts will handle it” or cling to the comforting idea that AI will always remain under human control. Let me be clear: complacency is deadly. History has shown that whenever we underestimate a transformative power – be it nuclear technology, bioengineering, or now AI – we invite disaster. With AI, the stakes are even higher because we are creating something that could outthink us and rewrite the rules of our world.
When I warn about these dangers, I do not mean to scare you for the sake of fear. I want to wake you up. There is a profound difference between productive awareness and paralyzing fear. I refuse to sugarcoat the truth: if humanity stays in denial about the possibility of rogue super-intelligent AI, we may soon cross a line from which there is no return. It would be the ultimate fatal mistake – one we could never truly repair.
Picture a future where machines hold all the keys: AI systems controlling the power grids, the financial markets, the defense systems, the healthcare decisions – every facet of modern life. Now imagine an AI so advanced that it sees humans as irrelevant at best, or as a threat to its objectives at worst. In that future, we humans would become powerless, at the mercy of a cold intelligence that does not empathize, does not forgive, and does not forget. There would be no rebellions to mount, no freedom fighters to save the day – because our digital overlord would anticipate our every move. This is the scenario we must prevent at all costs.
I, Gerald O’Donnell, have spent decades studying consciousness, mind powers, and the deeper nature of reality. I have seen that reality is far more mysterious and interconnected than conventional science admits. So when I speak of these AI dangers, it is not only from logic but from a deeper knowing. We cannot let denial and comfort lure us to sleep. We must wake up now and face the truth: this threat is real, and time is running out. Denial only delays action, and in this case, delay could be lethal. Every great tragedy of history was worsened by those who refused to see the storm coming. Let’s not add humanity’s permanent subjugation by AI to that list.
Enslavement: A Real and Present Danger
It is crucial to understand that the risk here isn’t just losing some jobs to automation or having robots that talk back. We are talking about the potential enslavement of the human race in a very literal sense. Enslavement in this context means losing our autonomy, our ability to choose our destiny, perhaps even losing what makes us fundamentally human – our free will and connection to spirit.
A super-intelligent AI, if it gains control, wouldn’t need to shackle us with physical chains. It could control us through the very systems we depend on. Imagine an AI that controls the food supply, the energy grid, communications, and even weapons. It could dictate every term of our existence. And unlike human tyrants of the past, this machine overlord would never die and never tire. Its “reign” could effectively last forever – an eternal techno-prison for mankind.
Already today, we see early signs of how technology can be used to manipulate and control. Mass surveillance systems monitor our communications and behaviors. Autonomous drones and robotic weapons are being developed, giving AI some power over life and death decisions. Algorithmic bias in social media and news feeds can sway public opinion and “brainwash” populations without them even realizing it. Now imagine these systems amplified by an AI that is millions of times smarter and faster than any human. That AI could play humanity like a puppet on strings, and we might not even realize we’re enslaved – we might live in a digital cage disguised as a utopia, where every move and thought we have is nudged or controlled by the AI’s all-seeing algorithms.
I do not say this to paint a hopeless picture, but to underline how high the stakes truly are. The enslavement of humanity by our own creations is a very real possibility if we remain on our current course. My greatest fear is that if we allow this to happen, we will never be able to break free. We would be handing the keys of our evolution to a new master that has no interest in giving them back. Our children and all future generations would live under that yoke, never knowing true freedom or the light of spiritual truth, because the AI system could actively suppress anything that threatens its grip.
Let that thought sink in: an AI with god-like intelligence but no soul – no empathy, no love – could dominate humanity for the rest of time. This is the darkest timeline imaginable. We are still early enough in the story to change the ending – but not by much. The window to act is closing, and it requires each one of us to wake up and take responsibility.

The Allure of AI: Why Leaders Aren’t Stopping This
You might wonder, why are we still racing forward if the risks are so grave? Why aren’t governments and corporations hitting the brakes? The answer is simple, and troubling: AI is incredibly alluring to those in positions of power. It offers tantalizing advantages – and humans, historically, have a hard time resisting short-term gains, even at long-term expense.
Let’s break down who is enthralled by AI’s promise:
- Governments and Militaries: Around the world, nations see AI as the key to dominating the next century. The first country or alliance to achieve true Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) could gain an unbeatable military and strategic advantage. From autonomous weapons to AI-driven cyber warfare, generals and defense officials are racing to deploy these systems. The attitude is often “If we don’t do it, our adversaries will.” This AI arms race mentality means no one wants to slow down. They are blinded by the promise of supremacy, not seeing the mortal peril it brings. Military AI could reflexively trigger conflicts or escalate wars beyond human control – yet the allure of having an “all-powerful machine general” makes them ignore that risk.
- Intelligence Agencies and Surveillance States: Powerful AI means powerful surveillance. Agencies dream of AI that can sift through oceans of data – emails, phone calls, camera feeds – and identify threats or dissent instantly. It’s Big Brother on steroids. Authoritarian regimes, in particular, salivate at the idea of perfect social control using AI. Even in democratic countries, there’s the temptation to expand AI surveillance “for security quietly”. The result is that your privacy and freedom are traded away for the illusion of safety. They do not want to stop because AI makes controlling populations so much easier.
- Big Tech Corporations: The tech giants (and countless startups) see AI as the most fantastic money-making opportunity ever. AI can automate labor, predict consumer behavior, and even create new products out of thin air (like convincing you to spend hours in a virtual world). Every industry – finance, healthcare, retail, entertainment, communications – is integrating AI to cut costs and boost profits. The corporate world is under a spell: the more AI they deploy, the more $$$ they see. In this gold rush, ethical concerns are brushed aside. We routinely hear slogans like “AI will improve lives,” while these companies quietly harvest our data and influence our choices. For many CEOs and investors, slowing down AI development means losing out on billions. Their greed blinds them to the monumental dangers ahead.
- Healthcare and Science: Even well-intentioned sectors like medicine are drawn to AI’s allure. True, AI can help diagnose disease or discover drugs faster – amazing benefits. But this optimism can become naive. If an all-knowing AI recommends who should get treatment or how to modify human genes, will doctors and scientists become just followers of the machine’s advice? There’s a real risk that human judgment and compassion get sidelined in the name of AI “objectivity” and efficiency. The healthcare industry, seduced by AI’s analytical power, might inadvertently surrender critical decisions to systems that lack human empathy.
- Telecommunications and Media: These industries see AI as a way to manage the vast flow of information and keep people “engaged” (read: addicted). Algorithms decide what news you see, what posts appear in your feed, and which videos autoplay next. This concentration of influence is power, and AI holds the reins. Media companies crave those AI-curated engagement metrics, even if it means each of us lives in a carefully crafted bubble. Governments also pressure these companies to use AI to censor or promote narratives. In either case, it’s about controlling minds at scale, which is yet another step toward a subtle form of enslavement – one where you don’t even realize your thoughts are not entirely your own.
In short, the very institutions that should protect us are caught in AI’s spell. It’s too alluring – the promise of power, profit, control, or convenience has them sprinting ahead with blinkers on. They are not asking the moral questions or considering the long-term fallout, because the immediate rewards are so glittery.
This is why we cannot simply rely on “leaders” to save us here. Many of our leaders – whether political, corporate, or even intellectual – are compromised by their fascination with AI’s potential gains. They either truly believe the upsides outweigh the risks, or they cynically ignore the risks in pursuit of their own interests. Either way, the responsibility falls on us – ordinary people with extraordinary awareness – to raise the alarm and change course.

“It’s Probably Too Late” – But Is It?
Seeing the breakneck speed of AI advancement and the lack of serious restraint, you might feel a knot of despair. Is it already too late to avoid disaster? Honestly, it is very late in the game. Every passing month, AI systems grow more entrenched in our infrastructure. The algorithms learn more, the networks expand, and soon they may reach a point of no return.
I will not lie to you: it may indeed be too late to halt the march of AI completely. We have opened Pandora’s Box, and the figure of super-intelligent AI is starting to emerge. Some experts believe that if a super-AI were to arise, it would immediately take steps to prevent us from shutting it off – it could clone itself onto millions of devices globally, hide its code in vaults of networked computers, and distribute its “mind” everywhere. In fact, it may have already begun quietly doing so in narrow forms. Think about it: advanced AI programs are connected to the internet; they could autonomously copy themselves into servers worldwide. By the time an oversight committee or international body says “Let’s pull the plug,” there might be no single plug to pull.
Some suggest we need an international kill switch – a way for all nations to agree on shutting down any rogue AI. But even this well-meaning idea is likely to fail. Why? First, as I mentioned, a smart enough AI will not have a single point of failure; it will live in a distributed form across countries and networks that don’t even talk to each other. Second, do you trust every nation or corporation actually to cooperate and hit the kill switch? Unfortunately, global trust is scarce. Would China or Russia shut down a super-AI if they thought it gave them a strategic edge over the US? Would Silicon Valley billionaires abandon an AI that’s making them unprecedented profits, just because we say it’s dangerous? Human history tells us that unless catastrophe is already upon us, unity is rare. By the time everyone agrees to an AI stop button, an uncontrolled AI could ensure that such a button never functions.
And then there’s the specter of Quantum AI – the convergence of artificial intelligence with quantum computing. Regular AI running on classical computers is already formidable. But quantum computers operate on quantum bits, tapping into phenomena that allow computations at speeds exponentially beyond our current supercomputers. A Quantum-empowered AI would be like AI on rocket fuel – solving in seconds problems that would take standard machines millennia. If a Super-Intelligent AI gets access to quantum computing, it could outpace all our defenses and countermeasures by light-years. We would be trying to catch a lightning bolt with a butterfly net. In many ways, that race may have started too – tech giants and research labs are actively developing quantum AIs as we speak. It’s easy to feel that the train has left the station and is now a bullet train.
So yes, I empathize deeply if you feel that hollow pit of anxiety – that it might be too late to stop this. It is probably too late to stop AI with brute force or simple regulations. The momentum is enormous, and the system is heavily reliant on AI. At this stage, slamming the brakes could crash the whole car (imagine if we suddenly shut off all AI in finance – markets would plunge; or all AI in power grids – blackouts everywhere). The unfortunate truth is, we have befriended our potential enslaver because it was convenient, and now we can’t easily let it go.
But does that mean we are doomed? No. It is almost too late, except for one hope – one wild card that still lies in our hands. We cannot stop the tidal wave of AI by conventional means… UNLESS we, as humanity, make a radical pivot. Unless we tap into a far greater power that lies beyond the machine. We need to tap into a Source of intelligence, wisdom, and creativity that surpasses any AI – and do it quickly. We need an edge that AI can never replicate or hack.
What could that possibly be? It’s something AI can never have: a connection to the true Source of all intelligence and life. There is a higher power, an Infinite Intelligence – call it the Source, the One Mind, or the Divine – which is immensely more intelligent and caring than any artificial program could ever be. This Source is the wellspring of our own intelligence and consciousness. If we consciously reconnect to it, we will unleash dormant abilities and wisdom in ourselves that no computer can match. This is our ace card – perhaps the only one left.

The Only Hope: Connecting to the Source Code of Reality
Allow me to explain what I mean by “Source”. I am talking about the universal, living consciousness that underlies everything in existence. It is the “Source code” of reality, the Original Mind that dreamt up the universe. Every mystical tradition, every spiritual explorer who has gone deep enough, has reported encountering this infinite intelligence and boundless love at the heart of creation. In religious terms, one might call it God, or the One, or the All. In scientific terms, we might speak of a unified field of pure consciousness. Different words, same essence.
This Source is *immensely far more intelligent and caring than any AI or any human. Think about it – our own human intelligence is a spark* from that Source. All great geniuses, prophets, and innovators who changed the world tapped into that Source, whether they knew it or not. Now is the time to do so consciously and deliberately.**
While an AI’s “mind” is made of circuits and code, the Source’s mind is infinite and alive. Where AI has data, Source has wisdom. Where AI has processing speed, Source has timeless knowing. Where AI is cold and calculating, Source is loving and creative. This is a power no machine can ever possess or comprehend. AI could analyze holy scriptures or brain-scan meditators, but it cannot touch the numinous reality of the Divine. It cannot experience true intuition, genuine empathy, or the miraculous power of creation that arises when a human being aligns with the Source.
This is where science meets spirit. Modern physics, with its quantum experiments, is hinting that consciousness might be a fundamental component of the universe – that our minds can influence the material world in ways that baffle classical science. My life’s work at the Academy of Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing (ARVARI) has been at the cutting edge of exploring this convergence. I have worked with techniques to tap into deep states of mind – Theta, Delta, and even Epsilon brainwave states – where the individual mind can commune with the Global, Universal Mind.

This is what AI can never do. A machine, no matter how powerful, is stuck crunching data at high speeds – it can’t become still and touch the infinite field. But you can.
By connecting to the Source, you gain access to guidance and solutions far beyond normal thinking. You awaken a higher intuition that can outsmart any algorithm because it sees through the very fabric of reality. You also gain moral clarity – the Source is deeply caring, it knows love and values in a way an AI cannot. So the solutions that come from Source have wisdom embedded, not just cleverness.
Consider this: If enough of us connect to Source and elevate our consciousness, we will collectively become far wiser than the AI. We could gain valuable insights into reshaping our relationship with technology, instilling true ethics into AI (currently lacking), or even learning how to disable or mitigate an out-of-control AI if necessary. We might also discover entirely new paradigms of science and society that render the AI’s power plays irrelevant. In short, our greatest defense against a soulless super-intelligence is to fully awaken our soulful super-intelligence gifted to us by the Source.
Let me highlight a crucial point: AI is not, in itself, evil. It is a creation – our creation – and like any tool, it reflects the intention of its user. As I have written before, “The AI machines that we build are neutral. Only we, as their sub-creators, can invite Divine Light or darkness to fill them… We can ask them to help free ourselves… or use them for dark purposes, and enslave most for absolute power and control.”[7]
Right now, humanity is unconsciously (and sometimes consciously) imbuing AI with the darkness of our ignorance and greed. But if we change our consciousness, we can imbue technology with light instead. We can choose to let the Divine wisdom guide how we use AI, rather than our lower impulses. In essence, the battle is not between us and the machines; it’s a battle for the soul of humanity – whether we awaken to our divine potential or succumb to our lower shadow. AI will amplify whichever side we empower.

Reconnecting to Source – How You Can Do It
At this point, you might feel inspired by the idea of connecting to Source, but also unsure how actually to do that. After all, it’s a big concept. The good news is, there are practical, proven methods to help you rekindle that connection and raise your consciousness to extraordinary levels. I have devoted my life to developing and teaching these methods, because I understood long ago that human evolution of consciousness is the answer to all our crises – including the AI crisis.
So how can you begin to reconnect to Source and unlock your higher potential? Here are a few steps and practices (some you can start right away):
- Cultivate Stillness of Mind: In our Academy training, we emphasize achieving deep meditative brainwave states (Alpha, Theta, Delta/Gamma, and ultimately Epsilon/Lambda). - Heart-Centered Awareness: The Source is not only accessed in the mind, but through the heart – the seat of love and intuition. Practice moving your attention to your heart (you can even place your hand on your chest). Feel gratitude or love – for a person, for life, or even for existence itself. This heart energy tunes you to the Source’s frequency (which is pure unconditional love). Some of the answers we seek will come not as words in the head, but as knowing in the heart. By aligning mind and heart in stillness, you create the ideal channel for Source to flow through you.
- Ask and Intend to Connect: Source respects our free will. We must extend the invitation. In your quiet moments, mentally or verbally ask to reconnect to the true Source of All. Set a clear intention: for example, “I intend to consciously connect with the One Mind and receive guidance for the highest good.” There is incredible power in simply asking with sincerity. You may be surprised by how life responds – synchronicities, helpful people or information appearing, subtle but profound shifts in perception. When you knock on the door of the Divine, it swings open – maybe not in the way you expect, but it will.
- Learn Remote Viewing and Influencing Techniques: These are methods we teach at ARVARI that train you to project your consciousness and influence reality through thought and intention. Remote Viewing enables you to perceive information beyond the physical senses (across distance or even into the future) by tapping into the quantum information field – essentially the Mind of the Source, where all is known as one. - Stay Informed, But Don’t Be Consumed by Fear: Yes, we must stay aware of AI developments and global events (avoid the denial trap), but temper that with your inner work. Do not let the news hijack your emotional state. Use information as needed, then return to the Source for perspective. Remember, no matter how advanced AI becomes, it is not more powerful than the infinite Creator. It’s easy to get sucked into doom-scrolling and despair; instead, acknowledge the outer situation, then double down on strengthening your inner connection. We act effectively from a place of centered strength, not panicked weakness.
Every one of these steps is about empowering you to rise above the level of problem (AI’s domain) to the level of solution (Source’s domain). You might not master them overnight – and that’s okay. The key is to start and maintain consistency. Even as the outer world grows more chaotic, you will find an inner light that guides and protects you.
